Feel Your Dantian — The Bellows Practice

Feel Your Dantian — The Bellows Practice is Bailu Hub’s introductory lesson. It explores opening and closing at the body’s centre and how the body connects, rather than treating the movement as repeated squats or an exercise in greater force.

Where does the practice come from?

It is adapted from Xinyi Quan’s “Crouching Monkey”, refined by Bailu Hub. The course pairs a movement demonstration with explanations of what to observe.

What is the first lesson about?

Explore opening and closing at the dantian and how your centre connects with your hands and feet. Begin to connect the body vertically and find an initial pathway for vertical jin, or trained force. Find connection first, not force.

Why not judge it by squat depth?

Visible bending and straightening alone do not establish whole-body connection. The course focuses on how the parts work together. More range, speed or effort cannot replace understanding the practice.

How should I approach the first lesson?

Read the explanation, study the 3D demonstration, and follow the instructions for that session in the app. Afterwards, record what was clear and what remained difficult to understand, then ask a specific question.

Can I start a training session here?

This is a course introduction, not an online training session. It does not grant extra sessions or unlock courses. Actual practice follows the access and course guidance in the app.
